Job Details
We are looking for people to sell programmes to visitors at outdoor shows around the country throughout 2024.
You must be 17 or over to work for us. Sorry, but there are no exceptions.
You must have a national insurance number and be allowed to work in this country.
You need to be cheerful, out going, and enthusiastic even in the pouring rain. You need to be helpful and polite – As well as selling programmes you will be asked lots of questions – where are the toilets, cash machine, entrance/exit etc. We’re not going to give you a maths test but you must be comfortable given change for notes etc.,
Times
You need to arrive ready to start work at 7.15am each morning and you will finish between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
Money
We pay a standard rate of £85.00 a day.
Interviews
We do not always hold interviews. If we do, they are only held on the day specified and are informal. We see small groups for about 30 minutes and you will be expected to say a bit but we do the majority of talking.
And Finally...
This is hard work but we have a good return of staff every year so we must be doing something right. If you feel you are the type of person we are looking for and enjoy interacting with the public than you will enjoy working for us.
HOWEVER, if you’re one of those quiet types who needs a couple of drinks before you can start approaching people then this is not for you – you will hate it and probably hate me and my team by the end of it all.
