Thank you for your interest in selling programmes for us. Please ensure you read the following brief before you decide to come to an interview.
We are currently recruiting for the following shows;
- Anglesey Show
- Welsh Winter Fair
We are looking for people to sell programmes to visitors at outdoor shows around the country throughout 2019.
You must be 17 or over to work for us. Sorry, but there are no exceptions.
You must have a national insurance number and be allowed to work in this country.
You need to be cheerful, out going, and enthusiastic even in the pouring rain. You need to be helpful and polite – As well as selling programmes you will be asked lots of questions – where are the toilets, cash machine, entrance/exit etc. We’re not going to give you a maths test but you must be comfortable given change for notes etc.,
You need to arrive ready to start work at 7.15am each morning and you will finish between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
We pay a standard rate of £68.00 a day.
We do not always hold interviews. If we do, they are only held on the day specified and are informal. We see small groups for about 30 minutes and you will be expected to say a bit but we do the majority of talking.
This is hard work but we all have fun. We have a good return of staff every year so we must be doing something right. If you feel you are the type of person we are looking for then come along to one of our informal interviews and show us why we should take you on.
HOWEVER, if you’re one of those quiet types who needs a couple of drinks before you can start approaching people then this is not for you – you will hate it and probably hate me and my team by the end of it all.
